A lev\u00e9llemez l\u00e1ndzs\u00e1s-elliptikus, \u00e9kv\u00e1ll\u00fa, hegyes cs\u00facs\u00fa. A vir\u00e1gzat erny\u0151szer\u0171 2,5-6 cm \u00e1tm\u00e9r\u0151j\u0171, 6-20 vir\u00e1ggal. A lepel feh\u00e9r, 7-12 mm hossz\u00fa, a porz\u00f3k r\u00f6videbbek a lepeln\u00e9l. Levelei kellemes fokhagym\u00e1s \u00edz\u0171ek-illat\u00faak. K\u00f6nnyen \u00f6sszet\u00e9veszthet\u0151 az er\u0151sen m\u00e9rgez\u0151 \u0151szi kikericcsel (Colchicum autumnale), valamint az ugyancsak m\u00e9rgez\u0151 gy\u00f6ngyvir\u00e1ggal (Convallaria majalis). A kikerics levelei 20-30 cm hossz\u00faak, 2-7 cm sz\u00e9lesek, s\u00f6t\u00e9tz\u00f6ldek, hajlottak, sz\u00e9les l\u00e1ndzs\u00e1s alak\u00faak. Ink\u00e1bb \u00fcde r\u00e9teken, legel\u0151k\u00f6n n\u00e9ha erd\u0151sz\u00e9leken fordul el\u0151.
